Hands and How to Read Them

A Popular Guide to Palmistry

By E. Rene

Diehl, Landau & Pettit; nd

This is a beautiful book on palmistry  featuring 16 line illustrations. The book has two owner's inscriptions, one of which is "Bertha Thurber". As the book was picked up at an auction in New York state, this may well be the daughter, Bertha, of noted humorist, James Thurber, who was born in 1912.

Illustrated green cloth boards with hand illustration on cover. 126 pages with index and glossary. 7.5" x 5".
